Campus Pastor - Brewster

Reports to: Brewster Campus Pastor

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Ministry Responsibilities:

Leadership (40%)

  • Commit to making disciples, providing family ministry and doing local outreach.
  • Communicate and champion the vision and values of Grace Church.
  • Lead and mentor the staff in spiritual formation.
  • Preach
  • Oversee the overall vision of the location’s ministries and weekend services.
  • Evaluate various ministries at the campus and provide regular updates to the Pastor of Ministry.
  • Provide recommendations for new ministry opportunities or changes to existing ministries which will better disciple congregants of Grace and facilitate a vision for outreach in Brewster.
  • Oversee the budget for the Brewster Campus 


Pastoral Care and Discipleship (50%) 

  • Oversight of Small Groups
  • Develop a process to find and discern new leaders.
  • Develop and implement strategies that connect/assimilate Grace partners and attendees to the community of the Church. This would include:
    • Small Groups
    • Outreach
    • Explore Grace
    • Baptism
    • Provide benevolence assistance including pastoral counseling as needed.
    • Perform weddings, funerals, baptisms and parent commissionings as needed/scheduled.
    • Provide hospital visits as necessary
    • Meeting with congregants as required. 


Administrative (10%) 

  • Attend staff meetings and Leadership Team meetings as required.
  • Schedule and lead regular Brewster Campus team meetings.
  • Other duties as required by the Lead Pastor.

Qualifications

  • College degree or comparable combination of related ministry experience and education
  • Minimum of five years related experience in leading in a church
  • Ministerial license (ordination preferred) and license from State of Ohio to perform marriage ceremonies.
  • Criminal background check clearance
