What is Rooted?

Rooted is a 10-week discipleship experience designed to ignite your faith, and deepen your passion for Christ. Participants learn about, and put into practice, the same 7 rhythms of a disciple of Christ lived out in Acts 2. The Rooted experience includes 10 weekly small group studies, daily devotions, a prayer event, serve day and a celebration event for all Rooted participants. Rooted groups typically include 10-15 people and are offered two times a year in September and January at various Grace Campuses.

Thank you for wanting to register for a Rooted Group. Simply fill out the information requested in the following link. A Campus Pastor or Rooted Leader will contact you shortly for details about time, location and other details of the Grace Campus Rooted group you register for.

There is a $20 fee to help cover the cost of the book that can be paid to your Rooted leader when the group begins to meet. If this cost is a burden or stops you from signing up please text 'RootedHelp' to 330-281-4558 for a coupon code that can be used at payment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Rooted is the primary starting point for new small groups and the best place for people new to small groups to begin. Our hope is that each Rooted group becomes a small group. If you’ve previously completed Rooted and are not in a small group, you should sign up for a current small group.
Once registration is open for the upcoming session, view the location map or list to find a group that fits you best. Click on the box for the group you want to register for and follow the steps. You will receive a confirmation email of your registration and information. The only fee for Rooted is $20 to cover the cost of the hard-covered book. Your Rooted Facilitator will collect and turn in your book payment. Book fees can be waived upon request.
Meeting locations will vary from group to group. Some will meet at a campus facility, others in coffee shops or homes.
Childcare is generally not provided during most Rooted groups. Contact your campus pastor for additional information.
We understand the commitment that 10 consecutive weeks involves. However, we ask that if you know you will miss 2 or more weeks, we suggest that you wait for a future Rooted session.
We recommend that Rooted include only adults 18 and older. Periodically Rooted and/or Rooted Essentials will be offered to students.
If registration is closed, we ask that you simply check back later. New Rooted groups begin each September and January.
