Berlin Campus Tech Coordinator

Reports to: Berlin Worship Arts Pastor

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Part-Time (16-20 hours) Berlin Campus

  • Report to the Berlin Campus Worship Arts Pastor to work together to lead Berlin Worship teams and execute weekly gatherings
  • Lead teams to instill Grace Worship Team values in the worship ministry
  • Coordinate tech and media teams (sound, camera, propresenter, gathering coordinator, video, and stage hand) to ensure excellent outcomes
  • Assist with scheduling/serving at weddings, funerals, and other special events
  • Work with Berlin Campus Worship Arts Pastor to recruit, train, and release new volunteers in the worship tech ministry
  • Lead through volunteer gathering coordinators to execute weekly gatherings at the Berlin Campus
  • Lead gathering walk-through meetings on Sunday mornings
  • Set the stage with the necessary equipment for weekly gatherings
  • Set up the tech booth and prepare the tech team for Sunday mornings (ProPresenter, LightKey, Resi and LiveStream, Sound Board)
  • Help in the maintenance of equipment at Berlin campus with the help of the Berlin Campus Worship Pastor
  • Collaborate with Berlin Campus Worship Arts Pastor on A/V Budget and new stage designs

Qualifications

  • Demonstrates excellence as a leader of teams.
  • Understanding of the use of the latest technology in worship, including sound, tracks, in-ear systems, soundscapes, lighting, video projection and other related systems.  
  • Some background as a sound engineer, having been trained to hear music critically in order to provide direction to teams. 
  • Strong relational skills and an enthusiastic presence 
  • Approachable, coachable, relational and team oriented in order to support the Campus Worship Arts Pastor and other campus staff in building volunteer teams to complete Grace’s vision for making disciples, building healthy families and sending people out on mission for God
  • Demonstrate godly character and genuine commitment to spiritual growth
  • Possess strong leadership and organizational skills to leverage influence by leading through others to develop, implement and measure progress of campus objectives
  • Excellent communication and listening skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Demonstrate a willing submission to executive ministry leadership
  • Passion for God and leading others in worship
  • Active partner of Grace Church and financially support Grace’s Ministry
