About
We will be serving in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with an organization called Group Mission Trips. They are an organization that hosts and runs both domestic and international trips throughout the year. We will be working with them to partner and serve organizations that they have built relationships with doing things that could be:
- Assisting volunteer staff at a local church food bank and clothing ministry
- Serving a local church with VBS setup and maintenance projects
- Helping homeless families by helping kids learn, play, explore, heal, and grow in their faith
- Serving at a local kids camp by assisting with activities including sports, crafts, and more
- And many more...
We are excited to serve the people who call Pittsburgh home and to see God do some great things through our team!
Tentative Schedule
Sunday, June 20th:
Leave from Grace Church Berlin - Time TBD
Sunday-Friday morning:
Serve with Group Mission Trips
Friday:
Leave the host site in the morning. We will have a free day in Pittsburgh (we are looking at going to Kennywood Amusement Park for the day), then get a hotel Friday night.
Saturday, June 26th:
Return to Grace Church Berlin between 10am-12pm
Cost
The cost of the trip is $450 per student in a single student household or a family rate of $650. The family rate applies to any family with more than one student going on the trip. We will be doing a fundraiser to help students offset the cost of their trip.
Covid-19
We will be following the Group Missions Trips Covid-19 protocols while on the trip. We understand and know that this is ever changing in today's world, so we will keep you updated as we get closer to the trip with the latest Covid-19 information.
